What we collect

• Your account: name, email address, and your organization.
• Your work: the documents you upload and the drawings, notes and exports you make from them.
• Billing: Stripe handles your card. We do not see or store the full card number.
• Usage: what you do in the application, recordings of your signed-in sessions, your IP address and browser, and error reports.
• Messages: what you send us by email, chat, or a form.

Your data is yours

You own the documents you upload and the output made from them. We do not claim ownership of them. You can download your files or remove them at any time. To have them permanently deleted, email hello@lineworkhq.com.

We keep your documents until you remove them or ask us to delete them. After an account closes, we delete its documents in a reasonable time, unless the law tells us to keep them.

What we do with it

We use it to run the product, bill you, give you support, and keep the product reliable. We do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising.

Your documents are not used to train AI models. Our AI providers operate under enterprise data terms that prohibit the use of submitted data for model training. We can use aggregated or de-identified data for analytics and product development.

Inside our company, only our team can look at your data, and only to support you and to make the product better.

Who else handles it

We share data only with service providers that process it for us and that have a contract obligation to protect it. They supply hosting and storage, the database and sign-in, document reading, payments, analytics and session replay, error monitoring, support chat, and maps. We can also disclose data when the law requires it, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger.

Security and location

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is controlled for each organization, so users see only the data of their organization. Our storage and database are in the United States.

Your rights

The law where you live (for example CCPA or GDPR) can give you the right to get, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To use these rights, email hello@lineworkhq.com.
